Mr. Gary Malcolm
Gary joined Lee Hecht Harrison in 2010 and leads the Vietnam business.
He has over 30 years experience as an Executive Coach, leader, and facilitator. Gary has extensive experience working with senior leaders and teams across Asia, North America, Europe and the Middle East.
During his 18 years in Vietnam, Gary has been able to develop a strong awareness and understanding of the Vietnamese culture and how to apply best practice in a local context. Gary is taking a leading role in the development of the Career Transition, Executive Coaching and Assessment market in Vietnam.
Gary was educated in Australia and has undertaken postgraduate studies in International Management at UT Sydney. Gary is a graduate of the Royal Military College – Duntroon; an ICF-PCC accredited Executive Coach; and is a certified practitioner of the Myer Briggs Personality Indicator (MBTI), Apollo Profile and Hogan Suite of assessments.
Mr. Wayne Bannon
Wayne joined Lee Hecht Harrison in 1998 and is a Partner in the Vietnam Team.
Wayne has over 30 years experience working in senior management positions across a number of industry sectors in both MNC and entrepreneurial environments. He has spent the last 22 years in Vietnam.
Wayne has an outstanding track record in building high performance individuals and teams. He has a deep understanding of organizational and cultural issues that impact individual and team performance, and an unmatched grasp of the issues surrounding increasing performance levels in the changing business environment in the South East Asia region.
Wayne was educated in Australia, and has undertaken post graduate studies at RMIT, Australia. He is accredited by Corporate Coach University of the USA, is a member of the International Coach Federation, and is certified in the administration and application of the Myer Briggs Personality Indicator and MRG’s ‘Leadership Effectiveness Analysis’ instruments.
Ms. Vo Kim Thoa
Director of Services
Vo Kim Thoa is an Executive Coach and Senior Consultant at Lee Hecht Harrison Vietnam. She also leads the Career Transition and Outplacement practices in Vietnam.
Thoa began her professional career in the Education sector as a senior lecturer in HRM and business management in various institutions and universities in Vietnam.
In 2008, Thoa was sponsored a full scholarship to study a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management in the UK. Thoa specialized in corporate strategy, people resourcing management and HRM practices (competency-based HRM, career transition, HRD).
Thoa has extensive international and national experience in the HR sector. She worked as the Assistant HR Manager for the Compass Group UK from 2008 to 2010. On returning to Vietnam, Thoa worked in a governmental department, managing public sector HR projects. In 2012, Thoa became a Project Manager for UNDP managing a $2 million HR project national wide.
Throughout her career, Thoa has been designing, implementing and coordinating HR projects for both MNCs and public sector, which focus on HR issues such as Talent Management, HR Audit, HRD, Assessment and Development. She is quick to update and apply the most effective HRM practices to a local context. Thoa is cooperating with prestigious international organizations and institutions (e.g. Curtin University, RMIT University, Global Cities Institute, Australian Human Resource Institute) to conduct and disseminate HR related surveys in Vietnam. She has been a guest speaker in recognized International HR Conferences.
Mr. Matthew Collier
Head of Leadership Development
Matthew is a Member of the Association for Coaching, an MTQ48 Facilitator and Coach, a Certified Everything DiSC Trainer and prior to joining LHH Vietnam was Managing Director of a regional Hong Kong based recruitment and training business.
Between 2013 and 2016 he was also the chief representative for a leading global outplacement organisation in Asia, responsible for transition and coaching of mid-level to senior executives in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. In this capacity Matthew has conducted over 75 senior level coaching interventions.
Matthew grew up in Dubai and was educated at Stowe School in Buckinghamshire, England. He first moved to Vietnam in 2004.
Ms. Van Vo
Director of Services Support
Van joined Lee Hecht Harrison in 2013 with Chief Accountant’s role.
She has over 10 years experience in accounting/finance field specializing in analyst the performance of investment projects, budget forecast, finance indicator, cashflow and internal control at large enterprises in technology category.
Currently she is working as director of services support and involves in making important policy and strategic decisions, as well as the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
Van has bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and master degree in Business Finance at Economic University HCM City.
