Assessments
Hogan or DiSC: which assessment should I use?
Use Hogan when the decision is about leadership, selection or how someone is likely to behave under pressure, and use DiSC when the aim is a shared language for communication and teamwork. They answer different questions, so many organisations use both: Hogan for the individual decision, DiSC for the team conversation.
What Hogan is for
Hogan is a family of personality-based workplace reports published by Hogan Assessments. It is used to understand how someone leads, where they may derail under pressure, and what motivates them. LHH Vietnam sells several Hogan reports, each built for a different decision, from leadership development to sales and safety roles.
What DiSC is for
DiSC gives a team a shared language for how each person works and communicates. The profile shows a person’s style across the four DiSC styles, with practical ways to work with people whose style differs from theirs.
How to choose
- Choosing or developing a leader: Hogan
- Understanding risk and motivation for an individual: Hogan
- Improving how a team communicates: DiSC
- Running a workshop where everyone shares a result: DiSC
- Both questions at once: use both, for different people and different purposes
Buying them in Vietnam
Both are delivered online on the LHH Vietnam store. Pay by card and each participant receives their own link by email; prices are on each product page. Not sure which fits? Answer four questions and we recommend one.
