Assessments
Is the official MBTI different from free tests?
Yes. The official MBTI is published by The Myers-Briggs Company and delivered as a scored report, while the free "16 personalities" style tests online are not the MBTI instrument. LHH Vietnam sells the official MBTI reports online; choose the report that matches what you need it for.
Why the difference matters
A free online test gives a four-letter result from a short questionnaire built by someone else. The official instrument is published by The Myers-Briggs Company and delivered with a report written for its purpose. If a result is going to be used in a team session or a development conversation, it should come from the official one.
MBTI or DiSC?
MBTI is best for deeper self-awareness and understanding why we act. DiSC is practical and focused on how we behave, which makes it quicker to put to work on daily communication. If you want immediate, tactical improvement in how a team talks to each other, DiSC is the sharper tool; if you want a deeper personal conversation, MBTI.
Where to buy it
